Declarations of God's Character in Nahum 1

Reading through Nahum a couple of nights ago i was struck by some simple declarations about God's character in chapter 1:


1:2 The LORD is a jealous and avenging God.

1:3 The LORD is slow to anger and great in power.

1:7 The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him.
