Why I Believe Good Books Change Preaching & Lives [A follow up to yesterdays post]

Yesterday i posted about Books changing preaching. But the question is how do books change preaching and why does preaching the Word of Christ with theological backbone change people?

I believe the answer is found in Galatians:
"Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?" Galatians 3:2

Here Paul refers to salvation and asks "how were you saved? by works or hearing with faith?" And we must ask "hearing what with faith?"
Obviously the answer is the Word of Christ; salvation is' by hearing the Scriptures with faith.

Paul then continues:
"Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?" Galatians 3:5
Again Paul asks a similar question, but this time in reference to the ongoing Christian's walk, growth and service.

We receive the Holy Spirit at the point of Salvation by hearing the Word of God with faith, and we continue to have the Spirit sanctify and work through us by hearing the Word of God with faith. And this is why solid theological books going into the hands of Church leaders and Bible teachers across our world is important.
As people receive instruction from the Word with faith; whether from dead guys in their solid & biblical books or pastors in the pulpits, The Holy Spirit of God works in lives toward salvation, sanctification and service.
