There is not one occasion when i read about Moses seeing God's glory on the mountain (Exodus 33:17-23) when i do not cry out to see a hint or glimpse of Christ's glory. But then 2 Peter 1:17-19 comes to mind in which Peter talks of being at the transfiguration yet states that we have something more sure than even that experience - the prophetic Word.
The Bible is greater in displaying the glory of God in Christ Jesus than any vision, dream, experience or the like. It is more sure, more trustworthy and more influential upon our lives.
Oh God, unveil my eyes & immerse me in your Word that i may be captivated by Christ!
