This picture has been floating about facebook for weeks now, and while it carries a truth that our God is a miracle worker and can provide a way when it seems impossible, the question has to be asked; "what if He doesn't?"
What if the accuser says of us as he did of Job, that we'll fall apart and curse God if the hedges of blessings are taken from us, and God told him to go ahead and do his worst.
What if, rather than conquering kingdoms, stopping lion's mouths, putting armies to flight and receiving back the dead, God chooses for us to be mocked, flogged, chained, imprisoned, stoned, sawn in two, killed with the sword or just left destitute, afflicted and mistreated (Hebrews 11:33-37).
Would we still worship and trust Him?
