Sweet Geneva, that Christian haven,
Where Calvin's school of death prepared for heaven.
Men elect, predestined - the reformed,
Since before the foundations of earth were formed.
This limited group, once totally depraved
Now stand atoned; by grace they're saved.
Spreading the Word for all to hear,
Through mountain and valley they'll persevere.

Today we love the doctrines of grace
But in our speech it has no place

In response one of my more Arminian friends decided that a sketch of Wesley and a responding poem would be great. Alas he decided that he wasn't creative enough and asked one of the creative calvinists to help him out. This turned out to be a wrong move, though hilarious, as you'll see below:
We're both Arminians, Charles and me
We love to refute heresy.
We feel each one should be informed,
Especially those who are reformed.
They claim they never can be lost
But very few do count the cost.
They live in sin and love to say;
"Christ's sacrifice will make a way."
STOP! The theme of this poem must change,
Arminian doctrine is very strange.
They're saved, they're lost, they're in, they're out
They haven't a clue what Scripture's about.
Reformed Biblical truths we love to hear,
We scream and shout and we do cheer.
One truth us Calvinists will never doubt;
No one will ever pluck us out.

I post these in the spirit they were written, one of fun and trust that you can join me and my friends in laughter. I guess the lesson is that no matter how friendly you are, never ask the 'oposition' to help you mock them.
