And, as an American listening, I have to say I dig the Irish accent---It makes even those old familiar words sound fresh and more interesting.
Yes, this is convicting. I have verses memorized and God is faithful to bring them to mind in particular situations---but how much more could He do so if I were to give myself over to memorizing complete CHAPTERS-- Wow. That's impressive
Haha! & we don't even have a proper irish accent (we're northys) my wife now, her accent is full on irish (or it was though its growing a bit mixed now).

My wife used to be able to do Galatians-Ephesians-Philipians from memory.
I struggle with John 3:16 so I'm impressed!
