Tim Quotes 1 John Chapter 1 from Memory

4
When Tim first quoted this to me during the week I felt pretty convicted about my lack of Scripture memorization. It's impressive to me if someone quotes a verse, but a whole chapter & working toward the whole book is pretty impressive.

Outstanding!

And, as an American listening, I have to say I dig the Irish accent---It makes even those old familiar words sound fresh and more interesting.

Yes, this is convicting. I have verses memorized and God is faithful to bring them to mind in particular situations---but how much more could He do so if I were to give myself over to memorizing complete CHAPTERS-- Wow. That's impressive

Haha! & we don't even have a proper irish accent (we're northys) my wife now, her accent is full on irish (or it was though its growing a bit mixed now).

Yeh, I found myself thinking exactly what you thik, its such a challenge & like you say "how much more could He do so if I were to give myself over to memorizing complete CHAPTERS"

My wife used to be able to do Galatians-Ephesians-Philipians from memory.

I struggle with John 3:16 so I'm impressed!
