Reflecting over the past year and thinking of the year ahead

I had typed a list of things that I've been thinking about over the past 48 hours about last year and of hopes for the one we've just entered, but I decided to delete that and simply post one thing that I think is the main issue when it comes to reflecting on 2007 concerning my life;

Did I grow closer to Christ over the past year?

[This incorporates thoughts such as; Has my walk changed; Am I living more victorious over sin now, by His grace, than I was a year ago; Has my private prayer life and devotional life increased or decreased over the past year; As 'head' in the home have I followed my calling to lead spiritually in the home in devotions, teaching, prayer etc; Do I know God's word better and have I obeyed it more than I did a year ago?]
