Tim and I were talking about my top 10 list of books that I enjoyed in 2007, and discussed the idea of a similar post on audio messages.
As I sat to list those messages that I've greatly enjoyed in '07; messages that have cause a shift in my walk with Christ, doctrine, life and mindset I could easily list number one.
However with a sinful mind that listens and forgets, that agrees and gets excited then fails to implement; I found that I struggled to find messages that I had not only enjoyed but that had had some lasting effect.
The easy option would be to list a top 10 list of messages that I've enjoyed, but enjoyement is different than effective so I give a list of one, a message that has for me been a swift kick where the sun doesn't shine, causing thought, change and determination to follow Christ harder.
It is a message that has set down for me a list that I believe every guy ought to be striving for whether they are, or they want to be an elder in a church.
This message is basically an exposition of 1 Timothy 3:1-7
