Writing Out The Bible? A principle from Deuteronomy 17

0
In Deuteronomy 17 where God gave laws concerning any future kings Israel may have the main law was this:

“And when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, he shall write for himself in a book a copy of this law, approved by the Levitical priests. And it shall be with him, and he shall read in it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the LORD his God by keeping all the words of this law and these statutes, and doing them, (Deuteronomy 17:18-19 ESV)

So what can we take from this?

1. Read the Bible every day so that we know it and obey it.

2. A principle (rather than writing out our own copy, as impressive as that may be) may be that we journal thoughts and lessons that we learn as we read through the Bible.
