Jesus: The First . . . The Beginning . . . The Starting Point of our Faith

0
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end" Jesus [Revelation 22:13]

We must remind ourselves that Jesus is the beginning; the preeminent One; and the starting point of our faith. It was indeed through Him that all things were created:
"For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together." (Colossians 1:16-17 ESV)
And again
"All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men." (John 1:3-4 ESV)
He was prophesied to be the chief cornerstone by Isaiah (28:16), He hinted that He was that cornerstone (Matthew 21:42) and was declared just that by Peter (Acts 4:11) and Paul (Ephesians 2:20).
It is by Jesus' incarnation, death and resurrection that we experience grace today.
It all begins with Him!
