The nation watched in awe, as the prince took his bride.
They gasped throughout the land, far and wide.
A tiny shadow, perhaps just a glimpse,
When the Kings wedding causes eclipse.
Jesus the lion like lamb who was slain
Will take his beautiful bride when He comes again.
Without spot, wrinkle she'll stand unblemished
Because He bought purity when at the cross He perished.
The ceremony, the feast of this great marriage
Will, like no other, last from age to age.
As worshippers gather around His throne
Crying "All Glory and Power to the Lamb alone".
Ok, this should probably have went into my journal rather than its public form, not to mention that it should have been posted a while ago. I'm not a poet and while i make the odd dabble i'll never be a . . . (i don't even know the name of any poets to place here)
