Home: A Place to Worship

0
Yesterday at Christ Church Belfast the message was on the relation between the law of Moses and the promised inheritance of the land. Deuteronomy 12 was briefly mentioned, where God foretells of how He will choose a place within the land at which His people would worship Him.

While i would argue that Jesus is the place of worship for us, there are still many principles that we can draw from this. At a base level we could consider our homes as a place for worship.

Then the thoughts flood the mind;
Is my home a place of worship?
How can i cultivate it to be such a place?
What should/could it look like?

I'm sure the Word of God would be heavily present in a central capacity.
Singing would most likely be a part of the home worship.
Prayer, fasting, love, peace, joy, obedience, faith . . .

Perhaps the prominent thing in a home that is a place of worship will be a passionate love obsession with Jesus.
