As for binding, I've read that Crossway guarantees the binding on all leather-bound bibles (including the TruTone - I believe the details can be found on their website) and will fix or replace upon it's return. I have shopped for one, but since I don't really have a need for another bible I haven't purchased one so I can't speak from experience.
Which translation you would like to use is also very important when selecting a bible.
Also, when and how do you want to use it? Small for a backpack or satchel? Larger print for easier reading? How's the feel/weight in your hand?
