[No 'Growing up in Church' this week cause i've been lazy and busy, hence the neglect of it all here]
Who said that the youth of today were lazy wasters?
A while ago we got a large delivery of stones, and since we're mid terrace it came to our front garden. The problem being that we're stoning some of our back, and so began the shovel-wheel borrow saga.
Before i knew it pretty much every kid on our street was offering help, and so with rakes, shovels and a couple more borrowed wheel borrows i set about getting arrested for exploiting child labour. It was great to get chatting to some of these guys, find out a bit more about them and see where they're at in life. It was greater still to see that today's youth are not as bad as some would say they are!
I have to say that my son was the coolest with his little 'Toys R Us' wheel borrow and shovel. I kept looking behind me as he followed my every step with glee.
