World Cup

0
Over the past few months and in preparation for the World Cup Revival Movement Association has been shipping containers of Gospel literature in various languages into Africa.
Many of these are the new 'Victory' tract, especially designed with football in mind. I've been praying a bit about the evangelical efforts during the World cup, not just in South Africa, but also locally as Churches are putting on events etc.

Prayer suggestions:
  • That God would use His Word to reach into South Africa and glorify His name among the nations gathered there.
  • That the believers who will be distributing these will be emboldened by His Spirit. That they will drink deeply from His Word and may feel His presence with them.
  • That many will come, by His Spirit and find redemption in the Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the World.
  • That after the last whistle is blown, the Spirit of God will continue working for the glory of Christ in salvation and sanctification. (And that new converts may be directed into discipleship.)
  • That the Church may be strengthened and blessed by God.
