Summer Reads

1
Summer opens great opportunities to read a few books. Whether on the plane, by the pool or simply in the back garden, there's something about the sun that encourages us to read a little bit more.

I thought i'd fire up a couple of *recommendations:

Dug Down Deep
By Joshua Harris

(I'm currently reading this. It's a huge encouragement to go deeper in studying the Bible)

(Don't let the size put you off, it really is a brilliant read)

By John Piper

(Barbara recommended this one for the ladeeez)

Through Editors Eyes: 1859 Revival in Ireland as Reported by the Local Press
Edited by Samuel Adams

(A really good book with insights into the 1859 revival that i had never read in other books)

Son Of Hamas
By Mosab Hassan Yousef

(An exceedingly gripping and thought provoking read)

I'm loving working my way through Vintage Jesus again this last few days in the back garden!
