Displaying The Love of God - Belfast Church Gives Shelter

0
City Church in Belfast have opened up their hall as a place of refuge for 115 Romanians who have been driven out of their homes by racists.

You can read more about it in the Belfast Telegraph. Personally i think the people of City Church have shown a great example of the love of Christ, not just to these families but to all of us in N.Ireland. Compliments to this church!

Many of us would be asking about our 'programs' and where will we have our Sunday school, football, badminton or cake sales. But these should not even come into it when faced with the needs of others & the opportunity to help.

So thank you City Church for loving as Christ loves.

The terrible, horrific, damnable thing that is racism is to be condemned at every quarter. We need to learn the lesson that we there is only ONE race - the human race. Yes this race is made up of many ethnic groups & cultures, but we ALL share the same first parents in Adam & Eve. Thabiti Anyabwile gives us a great Biblical explanation of this in 'Bearing The Image' that explains this alot better than i can.
