A lot better than a chatty co-worker!
Depends on what they chat about.
I spent years on a machine beside a very good friend who's soon to be a pastor. He's also very chatty, but we talked about Jesus, I learnt alot from him & we often enjoyed singing praises while working etc. They were good years.
However to be beside someone who just talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks & talks Would drive you crazy if its not profitable.
I know this is beside your point, but the office supply geek in me wants to know:
What kind of pen (or pencil) is that sitting atop your ESV?
As to your point. Each of us has times when we just want to be left alone. A good worker (and friend) realizes that without taking offense.
Hey Michael, its a parker fountian pen I use to write in my journal (under the ESV in Picture).
For writting in Bible its PIGMA Micron 005, 0.20 mm line width pens that don't show through the page.
Yeh, though I have to confess that there are times when I talk to others when I should let them be. Guess we're all guilty of chatting too much.
After I wrote it I looked at the pic again and I thought it might be a Parker fountain pen. Love the Parkers!
Oh yeh, they're hard to beat. I haven't used one for years, then my aunt bought me this one at christmas & i'm realizing what i've been missing!
