2nd Hand Book Shops

3
In Wexford over the weekend I had the chance to browse in some second hand book shops. I often take a dander into charity shops & book shops in the North and have came across some gems (eg. 'Sermons of Hugh Latimer' for £1.00).

I do read fiction, most recently renting Conn Iggulden's 'Bones of the Hills' but usually when I enter these particular shops I tend to make a point of glancing through the 'Religious Section'.
One of the shops in Wexford didn't have a religious section & the other had 1 shelf with a couple of Roman Catholic books (which was to be expected).

But all this is to set the background for a couple of questions:

'Do you check out 2nd hand book stores and have you any recommendations of any in your area that may hold some hidden treasures yet to find?'

The Second Hand Book shop par excellence is Gowan Books in Fermanagh...for theology it is one of the best in the world I'd say and I know a few US pastors who agree.

Wow - I only heard about Gowan's a few weeks ago when a friend was holidaying in Fermanagh and came across it by accident. Didn't realise it was that good!

Is it easy to find?

When you know how!

When you don't...No!

Here's a map of the location. Give yourself at least 3 hours!
