The Front Line?

0
I've been pondering a conversation I had with a friend recently about 'election' & 'free-will'. We talked for quite some while about it, concluding only that it is not something one can necessarily sit down to study. Rather it is something that comes naturally as one studies the Scriptures over many years, & Bible upon Bible draws a conviction on these matters as it ingrains itself into us.

As I've thought about this my mind has continually reflected to a post by Mark Dever on T4G blog titled 'Togetherness and the Real Front Line'. A statement that I for one think is something to keep in mind when coming to this issue.
Here's a short extract:

"The real front line is not between Calvinist evangelicals and Arminian evangelicals. It is between those who are lost in their sins and those who have been saved by God's sheer grace in Christ. And this is not, of course, a war of flesh and blood, but a loving "assault" of sheep charging the wolves with the Good News of Jesus Christ, sheep who were themselves once at enmity with God."
