It took a few takes to get a serious picture, but here's one from the cutting room floor.
It was taken on Victor & Racquel's last day with us before heading back to Brazil.

Victors thoughts that morning were very encouraging:

Let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it” (Psalm 90 v17).

Of the 40 years that I have been working in Brazil I have now completed the last 4 years with Every Home Crusade.
Literature has always been my ministry and I thank God for every minute spent serving Him in this capacity. The ministry that you are carrying out here, reaching many parts of the world through portions of God’s Word, is simply tremendous, full of action. I love mobility. I love seeing things getting done.

When I walk into the factory I can see all you friends with hands everywhere – cleaning the presses, inking the rollers, stapling the booklets, packing the literature, loading the containers, folding the leaflets, and operating the computers. Everywhere all hands are at work.

Take a look at your hands.
God gave them to you for His purpose.
They are being used to further His Kingdom here on earth. It is a privilege to serve God. It is a joy. It is an honour. God uses our hands to do His work.

The Bible has a lot to say about this. In Deuteronomy 33 v3 we are told, “All his saints are in thy hand”. In Jeremiah 18 v6 we are familiar with God’s words to us, “Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand so are ye in mine hand.” In Ecclesiastes 9 v10 we are encouraged by Solomon’s advice, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.” Finally the work of our hands produces the beauty of the Lord in our lives. Psalm 90 v17 reminds us: “Let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us.”

Never underestimate what you are doing here for God.
A pastor, evangelist or missionary is reaching tens, hundreds, or maybe thousands of people. But you folks here at Every Home Crusade are reaching millions. This is amazing!

Keep using your hands for God. Use them for the Gospel’s sake. Use them for praying. Use them to glorify the Lord.
If you do this His beauty will shine upon you each one. My prayer is –

“Father, we are reminded what the hymn writer wrote: ‘Nothing in my hands I bring, Simply to the Cross I cling.’ Take these empty hands of ours and fill them with the message of the Cross to take to those in need. Take our hands and let them be consecrated Lord to Thee. Amen.” - Victor.
