For the Rescue of us all

0
Recently I've been enjoying the song "Oh the glory of it all" by David Crowder Band. Especially prominent to me are the last couple of lines in the last verse and the chorus,

"And After all our hands have wrought
He forgives

Oh the Glory of it all is:
he came here
For the rescue of us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all
for the glory of it all "

Our hands have wrought sin and disobedience toward God, and how we need forgiveness! And that forgiveness comes through Jesus, He came here, to live among us, to live a life that fulfilled the law on our behalf and to die a cruel death on the cross, taking God's holy, righteous wrath over our sins.
Jesus is the means of forgiveness for sins and rescue from eternal punishment.
"For God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that who ever believes on Him should not perish, but have eternal life" is the verse that this song brings my mind to rejoice and revel in.

Praise God for this magnificent rescue.
