An excited homecoming

On Sunday Todd Nighswonger at Cornerstone Community Church, Simi Valley, in his message asked the following;

"When is the last time you got really excited about Jesus coming back?"

In our house, each evening my wife takes Jacob to the window around the time that im expected home at. But yesterday around 'that' time he cried to get to the window and any time Barbara went to take him away (since she was standing there for about 10mins), he went crazy!
When I got out of my car I saw him at the window as usual, he looked, and then looked again as I walked up the path, and recognition hit in and JOY! I cannot describe his face, smile, laughter, eyes blazing with excitement and a hand banging the window. (I also can't describe what this does in my heart each day). But when I got into the house (after banging the window back) he was looking everywhere for me and then just wanted up into my arms for some daddy Jacob time.

What an absolute, real life illustration this was, and is of that question; "When is the last time you got really excited about Jesus coming back?"

Do I (do we) have that expectation and excitement about our Lord coming back?
