Depart

Humour me for a minute and think of your closest non-christian friends name, your non-christian neighbours name, your non-christian family members name(s).

Consider this, and fill their name(s) into the blank.

When death or judgement comes that person will stand before Jesus and He will say

"Depart from me" (Fill in name) "I never knew you".


How does that make you feel? Sorrow, Fear, Anger? Now a quick question that we have to ask ourselves about those who's names we placed in this experiment;

Do we really love (fill in name)?

One thing to consider is that none of us choose to hang around people who continually lie to us, they just aren't the type of person we want to hold as friends. And I believe that true freinds tell the truth even when it hurts (yeh even to the "does my bum look big in this question").
So considering the Ultimate truth of the Gospel, sin, death, condemnation, Jesus, His cross & redemption found in Him, we should seriously consider telling (fill in name) 'The Truth'.
