A brother in the Lord gave me a copy of this book, and I have to say, it was a great gift!Angus Buchan gives in this book a testimony of God's mercy, grace, faithfulness and power.
At first I have to confess the title "Faith Like Potatoes
" sort of made me think "what on earth", it seemed to me to be a silly title.But after reading the book, that turned into "WHAT ON EARTH" as I read of God's power and faithfulness on display in this mans life and of the constant lessons of Faith that Angus was called to go through.
If you are after a modern day testimony that is pretty amazing, emotional in places and easy to read as well as one that will challenge you about your own faith in God's promises and of what He can do, then this may be a book for you to read. Time and time again there is a constant challenge to trust God in every situation no matter how good or bad they may be!
Angus was in our work a few years ago on an afternoon when I'd went home, but the next day many of the guys were talking about his visit, after reading this book I wish I'd been there to meet this brother.
