Alan Graham from CEF Zimbabwe was in work today telling us of how Jesus is working in that country and how He is using the literature from Every Home Crusade. In closing he talked of a question that he'd been considering;
"What are you disturbed by?"
In picking up this thought I'd ask;
Is it that we don't have the new car or ideal house that we'd like?
That we only have a 32" plazma, not the 50" one we'd realy want?
Is it that we don't have the job we want or that we think we'd enjoy?
Perhaps we only have an Mp3 player, not the coveted iPOD?
Or the latest gamesystem?
Or, as Alan pointed out;
"Is what disturbs you, that which disturbs the heart of God?"
Orphans, Widows, hungry, poor,pride, greed, sin.... the list could continue but time doesn't permit me to go and do a Bible study on this today.
"Let us make sure that what disturbs the heart of God is that which disturbs us!"
