China Bans Bible from Olympics
The New York Sun reports that "The organizers of the 2008 Olympic Games in China have put the Bible on the list of items that athletes are banned from bringing with them to Beijing. . . ."

Spreading the Word
In other (not so local to me) news the Washignton Post talks about the spread of the Bible, not just in print, but "Using technological devices ranging from simple cassette tapes to solar-powered audio players and an iPod-like gadget called the Bible Stick," (And of how) "Christian groups are spending hundreds of millions of dollars a year to make one of the world's oldest books accessible in remote corners of the planet."

From Local News

The Belfast Telegraph Lists "101 gadgets that changed the world
" which I thought was just a fun list!
(As much as I'd love to go through this list and draw out how each item has, is or could be used for the Glory of God I don't have the time. It'd be cool if someone did though).
