Earlier today my friend and brother Simon Wade asked me what book, apart from the Bible had I enjoyed or been inluenced by most.
I'm still not sure that I've sorted an answer since at different times God has brought along different books that have changed, challenged, taught, rebuked, excited or stirred me in the Christian life.
But I began to ask and text this question of others. So without naming names here are some of the replies;

Disciplines Of A Godly Man - Hughes
A Children's Bible Story Book - Unknown as to which one but as my friend who said this one, had looked at the picture of the Cross as a kid, he realized that it was for him that Jesus died and was saved.
If anyone's interested, for my answer I struggled to find one book but as a young Christian MacArthur's 'You Call Me Lord' was a huge influence. Others that came to mind were Owen's 'Overcoming Sin and Temptation', Piper's biographical books, (infact all Piper's books) , Giglio's 'i am not but i know I AM' and Swindoll's 'Moses: A Man of Sefless Dedication'.
