This morning I've been thinking about God's grace so far this week in my life. Setting aside the obvious aspects of 'common' grace, things like breath, food, sight, heartbeat etc, Along with Saving grace by which Christ called me through the cross to Himself. There have been many other gifts from God's hand of grace.
Here are some of those graces that I thank God for this week:
(In no particular order)
To see one of my close friends get married.
To have the Word of God.
To spend loads of time with my son (which is often the case but I thank God for it all the time).
To spend time with my wife (also a huge aspect of my life, but one I am continually grateful for).
To encourage someone else, who then encouraged others.
To share with others about the work of Every Home Crusade (which also served as a reminder to me of the privilege God has given to be a part of this mission)
To meet & be encouraged by Thabiti Anyabwile along with his wife & daughters - thank you Thabiti for your time & fellowship on Monday.
To share the Gospel with others who do not know Christ.
To meet brothers in Christ whom I had not met before.
To continue walking & living in relationship with Christ.
To enjoy time with Barbara's side of the family (It was a great day with all the aunts, uncles cousins etc).
To enjoy renewed fellowship with a brother whom I hadn't seen for a while - thanks Geoff, I always enjoy our time together.
And there are plenty more gifts of grace that I could mention but fear that this post is already too long.
What about you? What gifts of Grace has Christ poured upon you this week?
