The title does not refer to the latest album from David Crowder band as great as it is, no, but it does have a similar theme.I have a throat infection along with an ear infection. High temperatures, headaches and the constant desire to bounce my head off the wall seem to be other symptoms of this. So I went to see the Dr, who provided me with an antibiotic which I am to take along with painkillers. (I threw Strepsils into the mix).
The Antibiotic is the remedy for my current problem (though many would say there are many more things wrong with me). But I was thinking about this tonight with the the thought that as I need outside help with this problem; so I needed outside help with my biggest problem.
The greatest problem of my life has been that I was born a descendant of Adam, separated from God, having a sinful nature and condemned to eternity in hell as punishment for sin.
I could not fix that, but outside help was given.
The remedy was the Son of God living a righteous life, a cross with the Son of God upon it, an empty tomb from which Jesus had risen and a throne at the right hand of God the Father where The Son mediates on my behalf.
His righteousness placed on my account; His death paying my debt, his resurrection proving His worth and that in Him there is Resurrection. And Him seated in Heaven making intercession on my behalf.
Namely the Remedy for Sin and separation and Death is JESUS.
