Friday March 23 2007 will see the general release of "Amazing Grace" (UK), a film about William Wilberforce who fought through out his life for the abolishment of slavery in Britian. Wilberforce was a Christian who had great faith in Christ aswell as deep conviction for equality and freedom to all men and women everywhere!

This is another great opportunity for us to learn from the past and let perhaps Britians greatest polotician from the past teach us some lessons today!

this is such an opportunity - there shall be, in God's sovereign workings and time, many conversations about Wilberforce and his beliefs and what the power behind this amzing victory in the House of Commons (comparatively in this day and age such a victory would be equal to abortion being outlawed). It would be such a great honour to stand at cinemas and distribute copies of piper's short book on this subject, however, unlike the Christmas special price of $1 for 'Seeing and Savouring Jesus Christ' there is no such offer on this book.
