Blessing Your Children

I stumbled upon a particular blessing that the Jews give to their children on Friday nights (the night before Shabbat). I rather like this idea, and if traditions can be done non-legalistically i actually think this would be a great one to begin in my home on Saturday evenings. . .with a lot of explanation.

I'm not saying that this exact pattern is the best, but the heart of it is definately worth taking & perhaps by using differing Biblical examples we could teach our children a different Biography of Faith each week?
