Definitely the most manly job on earth would be, being a dad. As I said over there, men who are able to show their love for their children reveal true manliness.
I don't even know if that's a Christian site--I thought I was commenting here.
Haha - I don't think it is a christian site, but I enjoy some of the stuff on it.
Being a dad is certianly a manly job! I love it myself!
You many kids?
I started writing a book on manliness - from a biblical perspective.
I doubt I'll ever finish it but in essence what I came to realize is that a real man loves in a way that most of us never manage. 1 Corinthinas 13 is a description of real manly love.
So I'd have to agree, being a dad is one of the if not the most manly job on earth - a lot of us try it but most of us wouldn't get very good job reviews!
Is that man's job not the same job that Homer Simpson does in the Nuclear Power Plant in Springfield.
Now there's a real man, ha ha. Doh!
From a Christian perspective I would say that being an elder is a manly job. The qualifications of an elder that Paul gives to Timothy set such a high standard for all of us men to strive for.
If you're after a good book on Manliness, look no further than my friend Mark Chanski's book "Manly Dominion.

I reckon that bringing Hebrews 13:7 into it the qualifications of an elder is the watermark of manhood & indeed these qualifications are the calling of ever man to strive toward (even if they aren't called to the office of elder) and if asked to show biblical masculinity I'd go straight to these qualifications.
Any girls reading this, check 1 Tim 3 out for the type of guy you should chase for a husband, or the type of guy you can encourage your husband to be!
