Grammar?

0
OK, anyone who reads my blog knows that my spelling & use of grammar is terrible, so I actually feel a bit weird posing a question about English language.

In recent years we've developed a new way of writing - text. We shorten the spelling of words etc in order to fit what we say into a shorter space.

Abraham Piper said recently that 'English serves you. You don’t serve English' which is a very good point, but I know guys who would argue that we must keep certain standards in our use of the English language.
So, when it comes to our modern day 'text-talk' as well as being careful in spelling & grammer etc

R u 4 or are you against it, (and why)?
